What it is right for
- A family of nine to thirteen. One vehicle, one driver, one fare, instead of two cars and a convoy problem.
- Airport arrivals for an extended family. Thirteen people and the luggage that comes with a month long visit.
- The northern areas. The Hiace does the Karakoram Highway and the Kaghan valley regularly, and it goes places a Coaster cannot.
- A baraat, for guests. Behind the couple's car, this is what the rest of the party travels in.
- Multi day tours. Quoted by the day plus the PKR 2,000 a night driver allowance, with the whole figure written down before you leave Lahore.
What it is wrong for
- Four people. You are paying for nine empty seats. Take a sedan.
- Tight old city streets. It is long, and it feels long.
- A formal arrival. It is a van, and everyone can tell.
