A daily rate on its own is not a price though. Across 17 Lahore operators we checked in August 2026, the rental day ran from 8 to 12 hours, and only one published what an hour beyond it costs. On out-of-city routes it works the other way: fuel and motorway tolls are inside the route fare. Nothing on either list appears for the first time on the invoice.

Self-drive hire in Lahore normally requires a refundable security deposit, original documents held against the vehicle and a daily kilometre cap, and the disputes that follow it are almost always about damage.
