A Toyota Land Cruiser V8 with a driver costs PKR 25,000 for a 12 hour day in Lahore, and the rate is the same whether the booking is a wedding or a working day. Book it for the arrival, not the road
Everything the V8 does on a road, the Prado does for PKR 9,000 less and the Fortuner for PKR 10,000 less. What the V8 adds is presence. That is a real thing to buy and we will not pretend it is a capability decision.
What it is right for
- The couple car at a wedding. The single most booked use, and the reason to have one.
- Collecting someone whose arrival is part of the event. A minister, a client, a father in law.
- A long northern trip where comfort over nine hours matters more than the rate.
- Protocol and delegation work, where the vehicle is part of the brief.
What it is wrong for
- Anything where nobody sees the car. You are paying PKR 9,000 a day for something with no audience.
- A long distance run on a budget. The fuel bill at four to six kilometres a litre is the part people underestimate.
- City errands and parking. It is very large.
One honest piece of advice
For a wedding, the V8 for the couple and Civics or Corollas for the family is almost always the better spend than three SUVs. The convoy reads the same and costs a great deal less. What actually drives the bill is the length of the shift, which is on the wedding page.

How much is a Land Cruiser V8 per day in Lahore?

Is the Land Cruiser more expensive for a wedding?

Land Cruiser or Prado?
On a road the Prado does the same job for PKR 9,000 less. The V8 is booked for presence, and that is a legitimate reason. If nobody is going to see the car arrive, take the Prado.
What does the fuel cost on a V8?
Budget roughly four to six kilometres a litre. On a long day that is a serious number, and since fuel is billed at cost rather than as a package it lands on your bill exactly as it lands on the pump.
Is it good for the northern areas?
Yes, and it is the most comfortable of the three vehicles we send up there. Northern trips are quoted by the day plus the PKR 2,000 a night driver allowance.
