The practical argument for a driver here is not the distance, which is short. It is that the town is compact, parking near the gurdwaras is limited, and a group that has to find its own way back to a car it parked somewhere loses more time than the fare is worth.

How far is Nankana Sahib from Lahore?
About 75 kilometres. Routed sources give 74.8 kilometres and a drive of roughly 52 minutes, which in practice is a little over an hour door to door.
How much does a car to Nankana Sahib cost?
PKR 8,000 one way and PKR 12,000 return with a driver, with fuel and tolls inside the fare. For a group, the Hiace and the Coaster are quoted on the same basis.
Can I visit and return the same day?
Comfortably. Two and a half hours of driving in total. Most visitors leave Lahore in the morning and are back for a late lunch.
