Is There a Kilometre Limit on Rent a Car in Lahore?
Almost nobody in this city publishes a kilometre policy, which leaves every customer assuming a cap exists. Here is ours, and why it is none.
Not with us, not inside Lahore, on any vehicle. There is no daily kilometre allowance and no charge per kilometre. Since you already buy the fuel the car uses, metering the distance as well would bill you twice for the same journey. What bounds the day is the 12 hour duty period, not an odometer.

The policy
No cap, and why
A kilometre limit makes sense in a market where the rental price includes fuel. Cap the distance and you cap your fuel exposure. That is how airport rental works in Europe and it is coherent.
It stops being coherent the moment the customer buys the fuel. At that point the distance is already the customer's cost, in the most direct way possible: every extra kilometre burns petrol they are paying for. Adding a per kilometre charge on top charges them a second time for the same movement of the same car.
We used to publish a 150 kilometre allowance with a charge above it. A customer pointed out that it contradicted our own fuel policy. He was right, and it was a logic error rather than a wording slip, so we removed the limit entirely from all sixteen vehicles rather than explaining it away.

The market
The silence that costs people money
Of 17 Lahore operators whose published pages we read in August 2026, one stated a kilometre policy. One. Every other rate card in this city is a daily figure attached to an unstated distance rule.
That silence is not neutral. It means a customer planning a 250 kilometre day around Lahore and its outskirts has no way to know whether the PKR 5,500 they were quoted covers it. They find out when the car comes back. And a charge that appears only after the service has been delivered is a charge with no competitive pressure on it at all.
Where a policy does exist in this market, a common shape is 200 kilometres included with PKR 10 a kilometre above it. On its own that is reasonable and cheap. Sitting next to a separate fuel charge, it is the double billing described above.
What to ask
Ask two questions, not one. How many kilometres does the daily rate include, and what do I pay per kilometre above that. If the answer to the first is a number, ask the second. If the answer to the first is that it depends, you have learned what you needed to know.

Is there a mileage limit on rent a car in Lahore?
With us, no, on any vehicle, inside Lahore. Elsewhere in the city it is genuinely hard to know: of the operators whose published pages we read, one stated a kilometre policy of any kind. The rest leave it unstated, which means it is decided after your hire.
What happens if I drive 300 kilometres in a day?
Nothing changes on the rental side. You pay the daily rate, the driver allowance and the fuel that 300 kilometres used. There is no excess kilometre charge because there is no allowance to exceed.
Does the no limit rule apply outside Lahore too?
Out of city journeys are priced differently, as a fixed route fare with the fuel and the motorway toll already inside it. That is not a kilometre cap, it is a known distance being priced properly before you leave.
Is there a limit on a monthly booking?
Monthly arrangements are quoted individually because usage patterns differ enormously between a school run and a sales territory. Whatever is agreed is written into the quote before the month starts, with a figure, not left open.
